Want to catch up with old friends from the heady days of the W.R.A.A.C?
Well, this is the site to do so.
It's currently being put together, so please come back soon.
As I wander the internet searching for items relevant to my life in The Women's Royal Australian Army Corps way back in the 1960s, I'm acutely aware of the lack of sites where ex-WRAAC can catch up with old friends; leave messages; and generally wallow in a bit of nostalgia. There are a couple of excellent sites which exist already... but they don't allow for posting of comments by visitors to the site. So, I thought... why not a blogspot for us old girls!! How easy can it get?In due course I hope to have areas for each of the WRAAC barracks and units where WRAAC worked. So please, if you are ex-WRAAC, leave a message... join in.
I learnt late in 2010 that my youngest sister, Lauree had died in 2004.
I had not seen Lauree since 1964, and had always intended to seek her out at some stage in my life, but due to consideration to another person, I had delayed doing so. How I regret that decision now. I am so sad to have missed Lauree.
I understand that Lauree had a daugher, Natasha. If you know Natasha, and she would like to speak with me, please please leave a post here for me.
